A ripe but restrained style, this is very classy Pinot Grigio with appealing peachy fruit. The Pinot Grigio grapes are cultivated in the hilly, eastern part of Fruili Venezia Giulia, between between Capriva del Friuli and Cormons. After hand-harvesting the grapes are macerated for 8 hours in stainless steel, below 10°C. Then, after clarification and racking, the wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts for at least 3 months. Bright aromas of citrus and green apple, with fresh acidity and hints of stone fruit on the palate and a savoury, gently nutty finish.
