France | Loire Valley | Black Fruits, Light Bodied, Red Fruits | Pinot Noir |
The estate is located in the wine-growing town of Thésée in the Cher valley, and benefits from the clay-limestone and clay-siliceous slopes as well as the micro climate imparted by the proximity to the Cher river. The vineyard covers 15 hectares in the Touraine and Chenonceaux appellation. The wines are typical of the region with stylish varietal expression and elegance on the palate. A red colour with garnet reflections opens up a complex nose of aromas of black fruits (blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries) with a slight vanilla-woody note. The palate, round and balanced, restores wild berries. The silky tannins structure the wine, giving it harmony and length.
Selected to be part of #pinotmonth this August.
