Founded by Adriano Ramos Pinto in 1880, Casa Ramos Pinto has an illustrious history. The winery was initially used to make wines headed only for South America, Brazil in particular, it soon became known around Europe for its high-quality wines. Today, Ramos Pinto is part of the prestigious Roederer Group, famous for their champagnes, particularly the esteemed Cristal Champagne.The Single Quinta Vintage follows the original concept of a traditional Ramos Pinto Vintage. The difference between this Vintage and the others lies in the fact that it comes only from one Quinta:Quinta do Bom Retiro. Tawny colour with red tints. Lovely aroma of complex luscious mature fruit, spices and vanilla. Sweet and multi-layered palate with mellow dried fruit and a deep spicy flavour plus a ripe dark fruits dimension. Very long savoury finish.
