Pressed entirely from Pinot Noir grapes from four Grand Crus:Verzenay, Mailly, Verzy & Bouzy. Bright gold with copper flecks; a fine and active effervesence. Lively and velvety on the nose, with red rose petals, Bigarreau cherries combined with pink grapefruit and Timut pepper. The chiselled and chalk structure found on the nose is echoed on the palate. A strinking and mouth-wareting attack, where the salinty and delicacy of the fruit intertwine in an umami sensation, which calls for food. The good length is testament to the faithfulness of this wine to its terroir.
