The Ammonite symbol :Gaia's logo, and fossil of the Aegean Sea, whispering the ancient secrets of the Greek land, has travelled throughout the world carrying with it the name of Gaia Wines, along with Agiorgitiko and Assyrtiko. Gaia Wines was founded in 1994 by Yiannis Paraskevopoulos, Agriculturist from AUT and PhD in Enology from the University of Bordeaux III, and Leon Karatsalos Agriculturist from AUT. Both founders are examples of the Greek mindset of traveling and of gaining knowledge and experience, characteristics which are transformed into their wines, aiming to offer all wine lovers worldwide, the best possible result, each in their own unique way.This fusion of traditional Greek varieties results in a light, fresh and elegant wine. The Moschofilero contributes vibrant, floral flavours, the Roditis imparts a smooth citrus zesty character and the Assyrtiko delivers wonderful complexity, crisp acidity and a mineral finish.
