Argentina | Mendoza | Red Fruits, Full Bodied, Oak | Malbec |
Valentin Bianchi was born in Italy in 1887. When he was 23, he left the small town of Fasano and travelled to Argentina, more precisely to San Rafael, Mendoza. Don Valentin, an educated man, a teacher by profession and a person with a solid entrepreneurial spirit, began his life project in Mendoza. In 1928, he fulfilled one of his greatest dreams:to have his own vineyard and winery which he called El Chiche, "the small winery of great wines". Don Valentín's tireless vocation was forging a family winery whose name would become a true heritage of Argentina:Bodegas Bianchi. This Gran Malbec is a “Single Vineyard & Single Block”, since its grapes come from a specific plot in Los Chacayes. Its intense red colour, the perception of freshness and liveliness on the nose, added to the notes of red fruits, blackberries, slight spicy notes, and the balance provided by its ageing in French oak, are combined in a unique way in this Malbec with a long finish. With great ageing potential.
