ALAIN GAUTHERON in 1977 became the 6th generation of winegrowers run by his father Jean. From 8 hectares then to 25 hectares today his son Cyril now runs the estate made up of three appellations; Petit Chablis, Chablis & Premier Cru Chablis. The estate now produces 150,000 bottles per year.A very traditional Chablis made from 50 year old vines, fermented and matured in stainless steel vats to preserve the fresh steely flavours. It has fresh, floral aromas with notes of citrus and green apples. Well balanced, with a silky mouthfeel and a fresh acidity and a long and lingering finish.
