ALAIN GAUTHERON in 1977 became the 6th generation of winegrowers run by his father Jean. From 8 hectares then to 25 hectares today his son Cyril now runs the estate made up of three appellations; Petit Chablis, Chablis & Premier Cru Chablis. The estate now produces 150,000 bottles per year.Lovely fruit with apple, white peach, lemon rind & grapefruit. Spiced pear, melon & struck flint. High acid is balanced by very fleshy, textural apple, peach & lemon. Zesty yet buttery witha long satisfying creamy finish. Great !
